Well, I'm back at Brockport, finally. Things are lovely. :] I got my license 2 days before I went back to school, FINALLY. I got a perfect score, which is pretty awesome. Especially since only 50% of people who take the road test pass it on the first try.

Also, my niece is already 3 months old!

I'm so ready to go back to Jockport. I can't believe that I miss it as much as I do.

In other news, I loooove my niece. :D
She's 6 weeks old now, and is just starting to smile. She babbles and smiles all the time when she's awake, it's freaking adorable.

I officially have a niece! =D

She's 9 pounds, 7 ounces, and absolutely beautiful.

Soooo...I'm at my sister's house, watching her dogs while she and Paul are at the hospital. They expect her to have the baby between 3 and 5am! I can't even believe it's happening, finally! I'm so freaking excited.

I just feel bad for my sister...she's been at the hospital since 5am this morning. I can't imagine being up and doing so much hard work for that long. But she's holding up just fine, because she's Kristin. She's so easygoing and just plain excited, never exasperated.

Hopefully Chelsea will be over soon to keep me company in this house! I <3 herrrrrr.

So my sister's due date was yesterday, and still no baby! OUT OUT I SAY.

I'm so antsy and anxious, it's ridiculous. I just want to meet this baby. I'm ordering the game Pretty Pretty Princess for her online, because it used to be my favorite game. I begged my sisters (and their boyfriends) to play it with me every day.

I hope Annie thinks I'm a super-cool aunt. I want her to be one of those kids with aunts and a grandma who spoils her ridiculously.


I just ordered Sweeney Todd on DVD online for $7. Yesss.

Sweeney Todd movie = absolutely fantastic.

Is this completely ridiculous, or what??

This kid on my brother's football team named Darnell (my dad's the coach), who also happens to be my next door neighbor, had an issue with another boy at a football practice. I don't know the other kid's name, so I'll call him boy #2. Boy #2 for some reason was chasing Darnell around with a stick, playfully, but wouldn't stop when it got old. Darnell asked him to stop, and the kid kept doing it. Eventually Darnell got sick of it and pushed the kid away. That was the end of it. Kid #2 didn't get really upset or tell the coaches.

The next practice, 2 days later, the mother of kid #2 comes with her kid. She goes up to Darnell, and without saying anything, PUSHES HIM ON THE GROUND. She PUSHED this 10-year old kid. Onto the fucking ground. For a normal 10 year old issue. WTF. Who the hell would do that.

The police arrested her on the spot. Thank God.

...So I got a fucking tattoo.

I loove it.

It's a little quarter note on my wrist. It hurt quite a bit when it was being done, but it only took about 5 minutes. I was surprised. But the whole process was so easy...my oldest sister took me.

My Mom flipped out when I told her I was going to get one. And then 2 days later, she was okay with it. And today, we were at the doctor's office, and she was like, "You know, I really love your tattoo. It's so cute and simple, and perfect for you." So I'm happy that I don't have the guilt trip on me. Because my Mom's guilt trips are the worst. Or maybe I'm just the type of person who feels really really guilty about making people upset.


But I can't believe I have a tattoo...I feel like a BAMF. hahaha.

Steve Irwin died one year ago today.


It was one of the most shocking events of the whole year. And the saddest. I was absolutely devastated when I heard about his death. Whenever I think about it, I'm still at a loss for words.

He was an amazing man.

I saw the new Halloween last night...and it scared the crap out of me.

I was quite literally nauseous throughout the film. I had nightmares. It was awful. But it really was quite a good movie, not as good as the 1978 one, but still has the same effect. Rob Zombie did a good job.

I've seen all of the Halloween movies, and they've always been the scariest movies I've ever seen.

James's face is prriiiceless. (The one on the left, duhh)

Okay, so I do believe that the 7th book is my absolute favorite in the series. It was totally and completely fantastic. JKR is a freaking genius. How someone can think of all these intricate, elaborate details, and include things that go right over our heads in one book, and make us go "OHH YEAHHH! I GET IT NOW!" in the last book, is completely beyond me. So good.

And I'm really happy with the way it ended. Extremely.

And I don't care what everyone is saying, I thought the epilogue was great. And there really is no way she could've included what everyone was doing, which would've made the damn thing 50 bajillion more pages.

But now I'm sooo sad that it's over. :(
